I recently acquired an iMac and that comes with a 2-hour course on getting to know about iMac. I am glad I forced myself to attend. Initially, I wasn’t keen to go because I was sure that whatever I need to know can be found in the manual.
However, it is much easier to absorb the lessons when you have a person showing you the things step-by-step. Do you know what’s great about Apple computers? You do not have to deal with all the blahs of installing drivers and etc. The chap told us to just plug our hardware and the OS will pick up what it needs to know.
He said if we have printers, then, the Mac will know what to do with it. And if it needs update, it will tell us. If we plug in an old printer and nothing happens, he said, “Get a new one.” Actually printers are now so cheap but the inks are so expensive. I don’t mind buying a new printer but the thought of buying the ink made me change my mind about printing anything.
Talking about inks, if you are looking for inks, this is where you can find almost all models like the HP 56 black ink. Or if you own HP printers and wish to buy hp ink cartridges, you can find them too. Actually, I am not sure if people still print photos using ink cartridges. All the shops I have been to told me that we just need to buy the chemical coated papers and print our photos using those printers made for printing photos.
Having said that, do you know that I had never printed any of my photos before? No doubt the camera shop guy told me to do it and to show him my printed photos so that he can see how good I am, I never got around to do it yet.
