My children had given up hope on me to ever snap a photo that is not tilted. I seriously believe it is something to do with how my brains are wired. No matter how much conscious effort I made, most photos came out tilted.
It has become so bad that I would intentionally tilt the camera. And the result, tilted to the other end, as expected. In my mind, I know I must use the viewfinder to level both ends. E.g. the horizon, steps, edges of the floor or anything that runs on a straight line from left to right.

Tilted to the left. The sea in Redang island.
Tilted to the right. Hehehe. This is the sunset at Perhentian Island.
I shall not teach you how to solve this tilted horizon problem. Hahaha, you wouldn’t believe me, right? Let TV Smith explain it. I am using softwares to solve my imbalance views. Picasa2 has the easiest way to do so.
But I notice that it is quite a trend to tilt the photos to a sharp angle. My nephew’s wedding photos taken by professional photo studio tilted many of the guests photos. So, nowadays, I do hold the camera in a diagonal way to snap some pics with this angle. More about that later.
Meantime, rummage through your collections of digital photos and tell me that you have at least a few batches of photos that are tilted.
