No prospect with a photo blog

I just made a quick check on some of the keywords for photography and Google Adwords revealed that those keywords don’t fetch much and the worst is the searches number is not so impressive. Nikon D40 only costs 84 cents so you can imagine how much we, the publisher gets even if we managed to get on the top spot.
So, if you are interested to make money with a blog, stay away from photography. Even keyword like dslr camera doesn’t bring any moolah. Moreover, it is always hard to do any SEO with a photoblog because we normally do not have much to say as the photos already say the thousand words. Moreover, people just want to see our photos and not so much how much flair we have in writing. Maybe an impressive web site design and some smart programming will bring more traffic and more income but it will be too tedious.
Therefore, it looks like this photoblog is going to be pretty much an indulgence. I think I will have better luck with selling my photos to those stock photos site.
However, there are many areas in blogging that has less competition and more income. Of course, you will need to read and find out on how to SEO your site, how to maximise your web site design so that it looks inviting and not cluttered with too many ads. Then, there is the consideration on how to rank high on SERP and also many other tricks that most people will not teach you.
