The Gurney Drive in Penang is dead. Totally dead. The previous Government has reclaimed some of the land for development and as a result, the sea is now filled with mud. Stinking mud with lots of rubbish. It is really and eyesore and I wonder what’s the new state government going to do about it. Maybe the plan will carry on and someday, I may actually believe that development is good. However, meantime, I say the place stinks.
But I love the above pic. It has gray skies because the perennial haze is back in Penang. Couple that with the stinking mud filled sea, the whole picture is a total gloom except for my bright red WordPress T-shirt. My son has ironed on the left over of the URL he cut out for another t-shirt and I get my blog url at the back. The material is a reflective material and when it is darker and there is a source of light, example my xenon flash on the Sony P1i mobile phone camera, the thing will shine very brightly.
