Not long ago, I said that camera phone can never produce decent pictures and one should get a real camera if they want to bother about photos. However, I admit that I must eat my own words.
I just got myself a Sony Ericsson K800i which costs a mere RM1.4K (compared to the RM1.8K earlier) and it produces kick-ass photos. However, this could be due to the Sony Cybershot built into the camera which has 3.2 MP with plenty of functions. So far, I only bring my camera out and snap all the pics I want, macro, night, video, portrait and many more. I no longer need to carry a point and shoot.
I can even blog direct from the camera as it has 3G but heh, I have technophobia. The Maxis staff told me 1KB costs 1 cent and I can’t figure out how much a photo is going to cost if I do this crazy thing. Anyone tried blogging from a K800i? Is it expensive?

Hi Lillian, Nice blog! I feel that the K800i is more a camera than a phone. My office colleagues who use it says it good for web photos – they usually resize and resharpen before posting. Not good for printing though, I’ve seen a couple of 4R photos … or maybe I’m just picky. Show some of your posts with this camera phone? … Jason
