If I have the money to own a house with a huge garden, I think I will build a pond and rear carps. I find them so graceful swimming in the water. I can just stare at them all day. It sooths the soul and calm the mind, isn’t it?

However, it is not easy to take the photos of carp swimming as they normally do not rise to the surface unless there are foods to attract them. When we scatter some fish foods into the pond, all the carps in the water will rush to eat. The sudden movement normally makes the water murky and the waves spoil the frame as I want the photo display calm and peace.

Next, I have to find the perfect lighting. The sun must shine on the fish scales so that they sparkle and gleam. Yet, the sun must not be too bright or the photo will be over exposed.

I took a lot of photos with different settings to get just the right one. Still, I am not satisfied with the batch of 40+ photos because I cannot find a perfect composition where none of the fish’s head or tail were cut off. You know what I mean?
