Get down on the floor
by Lilian ·
About a year ago, a camera is just for me to capture places I visited, my kids and maybe a landmark or two. In fact, I rarely capture landmarks unless there is someone in there.
Probably, I was tuned to the age of films when every piece of photo matters. Each click costs money. I was limited to 36 shots each roll. Then, when I discovered the marvel of digital camera and started uploading hundreds and hundreds of photos into my computer, I began to get more adventurous.
So, let’s start from the ground. Have you ever lie or sit on the floor or ground and snap photos at that level? You can get lots of nice lines in this position.

Have you stoop down to pick up pieces of fallen leaves and capture their different tones, colours and shape?
Instead of capturing beautiful flowers blooming, how about fallen petals on the grass?
Ever notice the rough surface of the path is a great background with nice patterns? A single bloom of fallen frangipani looks so forlon against the cold hard stone.
I have more than 135 photos of gardens, plants and flowers on my Flickr album. Feel free to browse! Thank you.
Do you have shots taken from the ground level? Please share your URL so that everyone can enjoy your masterpieces.
