Fern shoots are pretty interesting subject to take a picture of. They are so delicate, full of patterns and come in various texture. Whenever I see fern shoots, I will shoot. (pun intended).

I like this shot because of the blurred background. The background is the fan shape palm tree and I only notice it when I download the photos into my Mac. I like the contrasting blurred background with the sharp image of the fern.

Took this with my Nikon D40 kit lens using Macro mode.
